Life feels a little more complete

I awoke this morning feeling anew, like a big part of my life had just been affirmed. Like my soul was just a little more complete.

I think that’s the kind of effect a Neil Young concert is supposed to have.

Tonight’s The Night

Never has that phrase had such an appropriate application in my life. Tonight, my friends, I achieve a life goal. Neil Young is playing Meyerson Symphony Center tonight in Dallas and I, along with my lovely mother, will be there in the not-so-cheap seats.

My mood? Excited. Elated. Impatient. But most of all: nervous.
